About Aventus

We’re Aventus -- a boutique customer experience BPO located in Charleston, South Carolina. We launched 6+ years ago, and provide omni-channel support for over 30+ amazing clients and partners in the DTC and direct response markets.

About the Role

We are looking for talented, self-motivated, responsible and reliable customer service representatives who can manage to service our clients with a professional and friendly attitude. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys connecting with people and has a passion for helping others. Many of the campaigns you support will require sales and retention skills, so be prepared to understand how you can support customer needs to retain/upsell services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service on each and every call
  • Assure customers get their issues solved completely (One call resolution)
  • Read and fully understand training material when new products come up
  • Upselling products when items picked by the customers pair with other items or work as complements
Qualifications

Personal

  • Customer service experience
  • Sales experience
  • Retention experience
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Must be able to speak English fluently at a professional level
  • Schedule flexibility is a must
  • Minimum two years experience in a call/contact center environment

  • Self-motivated and able to own workloads, meet deadlines and deliver results.

  • You’re intellectually curious and you get stuff done. Results are what matter to you.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • You are comfortable empathizing and remaining patient with customer service challenges, and are happy to handle escalated customers as needed

Technical

  • Must have a computer - Windows 10 minimum

  • Must have a dual monitor setup

  • Connected to internet via a LAN cable

  • A dependable and fast internet connection (higher than 15mbps),

  • A noise-cancelling headset, webcam, and distraction-free environment are required

  • An active email account

  • Working and active PayPal account - we can help you set this up!
