Team Lead Coordinator - Remote

The Team Lead Coordinator is responsible for efficiently and effectively handling the initial qualification, routing, and distribution of new and existing leads to our team of sales representatives. 

The Team Lead Coordinator will answer all inbound phone calls and SMS/Email inquiries from customers, and distribute them accordingly to the team based on capacity, schedules, and quantity routed on a daily basis.

A very unique aspect of this job is that you have the opportunity to complete pre-training and supplemental training on your own time to increase your hourly rate!

All required training with the client is paid for.


Role Overview:

  1. Maintaining and tracking lead distribution on a daily basis
    • The Team Lead Coordinator maintains an accurate log of lead distribution by agent, and is proactive in assigning the correct sales agent based on the lead profile and volume of leads generated.
    • This position is responsible for ensuring that all sales representatives receive an even distribution of new leads and opportunities on a daily basis.
  2. Answering and handling of all incoming calls
    • The Team Lead Coordinator handles all inbound calls and acts as a brand ambassador, representing both the company and its affiliates, with a high degree of professionalism and enthusiasm.
    • The coordinator needs to be able to quickly identify the needs of the customer and make routing decisions.
  3. Additional ad hoc projects and tasks as needed.

  1. Outstanding communication skills – Strong written and verbal communication skills. Uses active listening to support intelligent and strategic responses. Provides leads with a warm introduction to the brand. 
  2. Process-oriented – Has the ability to quickly learn new systems and implement changes to existing systems; buys into company systems and follows them by the book.
  3. Meticulous and organized – Attentive to detail and able to maintain a lead tracking system without errors. Includes sheet housekeeping in day-to-day tasks. 
  4. Self-motivated - Results-focused and able to own workloads, meet deadlines and deliver results. Intellectually curious and gets stuff done.
  5. Empathetic - Brings a strong sense of empathy; genuinely wants to help customers find the right solutions. Builds and maintains rapport with the Sales agents.
  6. Collaborative – Resolves conflict constructively and welcomes feedback from stakeholders to continually improve our processes.
  7. Tool proficiency – Understanding of Google sheets, including vlookups, pivot tables, basic formatting and data validation. Experience operating in a CRM environment. 

Desired Traits

  • Experienced sales or lead qualifying is highly desired
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
